I'm a huge Tom Peters fan.  I've read all of his books. (Most of them are on my recommended reading list.)  This book, subtitled "You Can't Shrink Your Way to Greatness," is the best yet.  In fact, it may be (and probably is) the best (most valuable) business book (short-term and long-term) I've ever read.  The book is BIG--499 pages--but a fast read.  I read it in four days and have never underlined so much nor made so many margin notes in a book.

By page twenty-five, I added it to my recommended reading list.  It should be no surprise that "Circle of Innovation" is my top choice for 1997.  A word of warning.  On page xx and xxi, Tom includes a "Note on Format" and "Readers Guide."  Reading these two pages, you will find that this book is not traditionally organized.  But, I assure you, it will be one of the most valuable business books you will ever read!
